Overview

The Networking Guide is meant to help you use your vNetCard™ more intentionally when meeting new people, following up, and generating leads. It focuses on practical use during real conversations and real networking situations.

Use this guide to understand how to share your card quickly, how to make sure forms are actually completed and submitted, and how to improve the chances of capturing useful leads in the moment.

How to Share Your Card

Your vNetCard™ can be shared in multiple ways, making it easy to connect with people whether you are networking in person or online.

  • Send your vNetCard™ link by text message
  • Send your vNetCard™ link by email
  • Open your card in person and let someone view it directly on your device
  • Display your QR code so others can scan and open your card on their own device

QR Code Use

One of the easiest ways to share your vNetCard™ in person is by using your QR code.

  1. Open your vNetCard™ on your device.
  2. Tap the option that displays your QR code.
  3. Have the other person scan the QR code with their device.
  4. Your vNetCard™ will open on their phone so they can review your information and complete the appropriate lead form.

Exchange Info

The Exchange Info feature is designed to help you capture leads directly from your vNetCard™.

  1. The prospect opens your vNetCard™.
  2. The prospect taps Exchange Info.
  3. The prospect completes the form.
  4. The prospect submits the form.
Important: A lead is not captured unless the form is both completed and submitted.

Once submitted, the lead will appear in the Contacts section of your CRM portal. The vNetCard™ owner will also receive an email notification, and with the LeadConnector app installed, they should receive a push notification there as well.

Refer a Friend

The Refer a Friend option allows someone to share a referral using your vNetCard™.

  1. The referral source opens your vNetCard™.
  2. They tap Refer a Friend.
  3. They complete the referral form.
  4. They submit the form.
Important: A referral is only captured after the form is completed and submitted.

Once submitted, the vNetCard™ owner will receive an email notification and, if using the LeadConnector app, should receive a push notification there as well.

Best Practices

  • Ask the prospect to complete the form while you are still with them.
  • Wait for confirmation that the form has been submitted before moving on.
  • Check your CRM Contacts section regularly.
  • Follow up with new leads quickly to improve response rates.
  • Keep your card open and ready during networking events for fast sharing.
